Our Mission
The mission of Wisconsin Student Lobby is to advocate on behalf of students and maintain andexpand the educational resources and opportunities available to all University of Wisconsin-Madison students. The centerpiece of such efforts is the advocacy of sustained and increased financial support for the University that will better the educational experience of all students, within and without the classroom, in all aspects of campus life, in a direct and recognizable way. The Wisconsin Student Lobby strives to reach these aims through the following:
- Education of the university community and state citizens on issues of higher education
- Provision of information, resources, and services to students, as individuals and groups, which allow them to engage in issue-based advocacy
- Direct lobbying efforts guided by a legislative agenda that students alone may shape
